If you need to get HIV PEP out of business hours, please attend your local hospital.
HNE Sexual Health is a specialised service. We provide free and confidential services targeting people most at risk, including:
- People with symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection
- People who have been contacted by a previous sexual partner who has recently tested positive for a sexual transmitted infection
- Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men
- Trans and gender diverse people
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
- People from, or who have had sex with a person from, countries with higher rates of HIV
- People who work in the sex industry
- People who inject drugs
- People who have been incarcerated
- Young people from 14 to 18 years old
All people who do not meet these criteria will be referred back to their GP or medical centre for testing.
